Why a site dedicated to dried vegetables?

Well actually it is dedicated to vegetables and we happen to sell dried vegetables.  This site has it's origins in our original site, Galen's Garden, which specialises in natural products for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus.  Obligate herbivores, they are also vegetarian so our range of foods and treats for them includes dried herbage, dried fruit, and of course dried vegetables.

What kinds of dried vegetables do you stock?

At the moment we stock human grade dried vegetables which go into our mixed vegetable treat mix.  They include beetroot, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, celeriac, kale, lettuce, pak-choi and freeze dried sweetcorn.   As this site grows, we will consider stocking other vegetables.  We can also supply trade amounts of other vegetables on request.

The bulk of the information on fresh vegetables is currently aimed at pet owners who want to know how to balance the various vegetables they feed to theri rabbits or guinae pigs.  As the site grows, it will cover the nutritional value and benefits of a wide range of vegetables for people and their other pets.
